This course covers the Pentateuch (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus and Deuteronomy) in extensive detail. There are 50 chapters in Genesis, 40 chapters in Exodus, 27 chapters in Leviticus, 36 chapters in Numbers and 34 chapters in Deuteronomy, producing a total of 187 chapters to be read and meditated on during the duration of the course. Short to medium chapters are covered in a single day's required reading, while chapters with significant content are divided up into multiple days of reading by stopping at logical break points in the narrative. Special attention will be given to noteworthy events, comments and doctrinal statements, with full explanations provided where Scripture may be unclear or confusing.
